Godly Living

Jesus gives everyone a chance to live a happy, joy-filled life, even amidst the turmoil we all are subject to here on earth. This is possible when we live the godly life in Jesus now. When Jesus resides in our hearts, the natural response will be certain outward expressions. Others will see in us a change, i.e., how we talk, what we eat, how we treat others, but mostly, how we live our lives overall. These are indicators of what condition our mind's heart is in. Jesus said that we will know what kind of person we are by the fruits, or lifestyle, shown everyday, just like a tree is known by its fruit. You know a real apple tree when it finally brings forth its apples as proof that it really is what it makes itself appear to be.

There may be days when things go completely wrong and we become hopeless. At times like this, we have the assurance that Jesus is beside us walking thru it all too to give us comfort as needed.

If we are Christ's, we will want to treat our bodies as living temples where He can reside each day, not just one day out of seven. We are assured that when we accept Jesus into our lives now, that when the times arrives for Him to come in the clouds of the skies at His imminent Second Coming, we will be able to stand up on that day to rejoice in the fact that we will be able to see Him face to face without fear of dying.

When He comes, He will not make contact with the ground. He will call His redeemed up to Him. Angels will come gathering His children from the four directions of the globe. We have been taught that when we receive our reward, it will be glorious. It will indeed be glorious, because it will be the day Jesus shows His smiling face towards us. At that time, we will be given our reward... He promised to give us one thing and that we might have it more abundantly. And that will be
LIFE

Anything else given us will be just the cream off the top. This life He will eventually give us will never come to an end, because Jesus will change our vile, decrepid, mortal bodies into one like His glorious one... never subject to decay or death. Our natures and bodies will be changed in the twinkling of an eye when He comes.

If we do not live for Him out of a heart of love in this life, it may be because we have been pushing Him away from & out of our lives at every turn of the road. If this happens, then we can expect the only outcome available. At His second coming, the individaul will be struck down by His glory and brightness. For one thousand years, you may look like this photo below while the saints are checking the books laid open up in Heaven.

If this occurs, then the person will ultimately experience

DEATH
in the of hell.

This death will be the final, unrecoverable one which the Bible refers to as the "Second Death." If you find yourself running away from Jesus when He comes in the clouds of the sky, accompanied with His mighty host of angels, then unfortunately, it will be too late for you to have a second chance... your destiny is to be total destruction. It will be like you never existed after you have been consumed with fire.

All this occurs after the thousand years are over when the saints accompanied by Jesus and His mighty angels come back to earth from Heaven with and the holy city, Jerusalem, trailing behind.

When the redeemed return to earth, the ones who never went to heaven will be raised in whatever physical condition they had died. Satan will do a widespread pep rally. This will be done so that he might rouse within them a sense of indignation and cause them to surround the holy city in an attempt to conquer it and take it by force. When the people come up to the holy city, they will be stopped in their tracks to which God will cause everyone to witness a panoramic view of their life streaking across their very eyes and will come face to face with every opportunity to accept Jesus and live. All will come to acknowledge that God is fair and righteous. Satan will be the last one to admit this and then they will receive their just sentence of condemnation.
Fire will then rain down and consume every inch of them. It may be a very quick process, but eventually the fire that consumes the wicked will catch the world on fire and purify it to its original state as when the world was first made.

Don't you want to be in the group that is inside the holy city with Jesus? It's not too late yet, but it WILL be one day soon for the unconverted. It will be when the great time of trouble starts which will be about the same time when ungodly people unify.
